The ACEC Life/Health Trust has collaborated with United Healthcare to offer a variety of products and services to help make health care more affordable. As a Trust member, you can access medical, dental, vision, disability and life benefits that feature special rates and plan designs. You do not have to be a member to get a quote.

The ACEC Life/Health Trust is a non-profit Association Health Plan governed by a board of Trustees elected by ACEC Life/Health Trust Member firms. Our mission is to provide exclusive, high-value healthcare benefits to ACEC Member firms to support the health and well-being of their employees and families.

The American Council of Engineering Companies, representing thousands of companies, is the voice of the engineering industry in Washington, DC and throughout the nation. With roots dating back more than 100 years, ACEC is a federation of 52 state and regional councils representing more than 600,000 engineers, architects, land surveyors and other specialists. The primary mission is to strengthen the business environment for their member firms through government advocacy, political action, and business education.

UnitedHealthcare has administered the ACEC Life/Health Trust since August 2007, and offers medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance to Trust members. Individual employer groups each receive Illinois Fully Insured certificates of coverage from UnitedHealthcare.
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the ACEC Life/Health Insurance Trust and UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company are three separate legal operating entities and, as such, the organizations are governed and function independently. UnitedHealthcare’s services are provided with the authorization of the ACEC Life/Health Trust. Questions related to health benefits offered through the ACEC Life/Health Trust should be directed to 1-800-573-0415. Must be UnitedHealthcare insurance license products; and HMO products do not apply. ACEC membership qualification is determined by the association.
